The restaurant serves Maryland’s specialty…steamed crabs, but the seafood ranges from gumbo to chowder, and crab cakes, oysters, shrimp and more.
The Elkridge establishment not only sells steamed crabs, but a choice of steam pots like the Chesapeake Bay with steamed crabs, Cherrystone clams, Gulf shrimp , and Maryland crab soup.
The steam pots have their regional flair with one having Dungeness crabs and snow crab legs for those more inclined to the Pacific Coast crab experience, and another catering to the Gulf experience with a pound of Gulf shrimp .
Now it’s not all about the seafood, there are overstuffed subs, Pollock Johnny’s Polish sausage, and we can’t forget about the BBQ. It’s right there in their name so it’s kind of unforgettable.
The restaurant does barbecued chicken, ribs, pulled pork, and pit beef. On the Smokey side of things, they also serve smoked brisket, ribs, wings, and more, and the meals include generous portions along with two sides and hush puppies. Oh, those hush puppies!
