Fast food went off its rocker for a minute. It was doing the most price-wise. According to Business Insider, fast food menu prices surged between 2020 and 2025 leading to a decline in customers sales. If you’ve noticed, some of the fast food chains are bringing back value menus, but some consumers, like me, decided to start scoping out other options.
When I saw that fast food was no cheaper than some of the neighborhood joints, I figured, “Why not explore other options and help small businesses.” Additionally, I’m not super satisfied with what’s happening with all the processed food, the bioengineered products and chemicals added to our food supply. So, if I can find a place that’s cooking fresh, I think it is worth the discovery.
